Countax C500HE Ride on Mower - Hydrostatic Drive with powered grass collector sweeper in Newark, Nottinghamshire for sale
Countax C500HE 16HP hydrostatic drive with triple blade 97cm (38”) cut width deck and grass collector sweeper with stripe roller. Selling as this machine is way too large for my plot. This is a super powerful machine with a Briggs and Stratton 4 stroke 16 HP (480cc) Vanguard engine which starts first turn of the key and runs smoothly, quietly and powerfully. The mower has had a brand new battery fitted. The engine has had an oil change and air and oil filters renewed, the hydrostatic drive gives infinite speed control forwards and backwards and is simply controlled by a hand operated lever on the right of the mower push forwards for forwards pull back for reverse, the more it is pushed the faster it goes, there is a foot brake for parking and emergency stops but in normal usage the brake is not required as movement and braking is controlled by the hydrostatic system. There are various safety interlocks incorporated so that the engine can only be started if the footbrake is on and machine will stop if the operator leaves the seat during operation. The triple blade deck is in great condition and has been treated with rust preventing paint and the blades are sharp and in good serviceable order, see pictures. The blade clutch is engaged via a electric switch on the dash and an electromagnetic clutch so is simplicity itself to operate. All belts are in great condition making the mower ready for work. The deck height is adjustable (10 steps) and the deck has corner anti-scalping wheels at the corners. The deck ejects to the centre rear and if the sweeper and collection basket are fitted it will efficiently collect the clipping into the very large collector or they can be left on the grass, this can be emptied without leaving the seat. The sweeper is powered by a power take off engaged by a lever from the seat. The headlights also work. This machine is ideally suited for a larger garden or large paddock as it can mow at speed and cover a lot of ground with ease. It has tons of power to handle even thick vegetation. This is a large machine, see dimensions, and is generally to be regarded as purchaser collects however I can offer a delivery service up to a radius of 30 odd miles from NG23 6NX at a cost of 50p per mile there and back (so 10 miles one way = 20 x 50p = £10 delivery). Delivery is offered at a time/day at my convenience but I will be as accommodating as possible. You can check the delivery mileage using Google maps with your postcode and mine NG23 6NX. The photos show the condition of the mower which I think is pretty good the grass catcher net is also in good nick as are the tyres which stay inflated and have good tread.
